Scientist in the field of mathematics and mechanics. Fundamental works on mathematics, aerohydrodynamics and the theory of oscillations. Director and Research Supervisor of the Institute (1946-1961). President of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. Our center is proudly named after this great scientist.
